It has taken me two years to post my son, Aarlen's Woody's Roundup first birthday party. He just turned 3, before I share the details of that birthday I thought I would give you all the details on how to host a Woody's Roundup/ cowboy/ western themed birthday party.
A couple of weeks behind but I wanted to share our Easter Sunday with you, from the kids outfits, the Easter meal and decor! If you've been a reader of the blog for a while about then you know I have written about Resurrection sunday in some form or the other almost every year, this year was no exception.
With Easter quickly approaching I thought it would be nice to set up an Easter table setting and dessert table. After all, tablescapes are a favorite. I used things that I had as well as a few new things from my go-to places - Dollar Tree, the thrift shop and Amazon. Here is what I put together...
Blogger mom + Valentine's weekend, means having a friend over from school goes from just watching movies and eating a PB & J, to a Valentine's play date decked with a full-fledged tablescape. Here is how I set up a mini Galentine's date for my daughter and her bestie for less that $40!
I am not sure at what point during my Pinterest browsing I came across a cowboy themed newborn photo session. But in that instant I became fixated with the idea of having a cowboy themed baby shower. It could have been the super adorable knitted cowboy booties or that precious baby boy in a knitted cowboy hat. Either way I knew that I would be having a western themed baby shower.
New Year's Eve is only 3 days away! That is literally more than enough time to put together a last minute New Year's Eve party at home for your friends and family. Not sure how to go about it or how to decorate? No worries, my blogger friend Lee of Miss LV teamed up to give you some tips.
This post is sponsored by DSW Lately, the weather here in New Jersey has been pleasantly warm for fall. I thought it would be a great idea to take advantage of these warm days to host a family movie night in the backyard. Nothing says movie time like some Orville Redenbacher’s butter popcorn; naturally, that was the first thing on my list. You will also need a few more essentials your fall backyard movie night!
Any time is a good time for me to host a party so when your friend comes in from out of town and requests one of your "special parties" you get to work. And Honestly what says girls night more than dinner, drinks and chit chat? A themed girls night in! What's best is that I only gave myself a $50 budget!
Summer was just about to start so I wanted a theme that would represent that, thanks to Pinterest "Havana Nights" was born. I officially have a Kindergartener, my first born, my baby girl, she is a all done with pre-school! Hurray for milestones! She and I have both grown so much these past 3 years but I am most proud of my daughter and Oh, the places she will go! To honor her and her accomplishment i did what we Dominican call "una bullita". Of course it was a Pinterest inspired Pre-K graduation party!
Memorial Weekends marks the unofficial beginning of summer and what better way then to kick off summer than with a crab boil! My family and I are big fans of seafood when given the option between a bar-b-que, naturally we opted for a crab boil.
